Funding Information

Employers have access to funding from the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) with Skills for Care. Employers can reclaim some of the training costs incurred when training employees with QCF Qualifications.   An employer can claim up to £15.00 per credit achieved once they are a member of a WDF partnership.

For Homecare Agencies

UKHCA (UK Homecare Association) are a WDF partner and can access the funding for QCF qualifications. Sign up by following the steps outlined below:

  • Complete a WDF declaration form alongside your UKHCA Agreement form
  • Ensure all your information is up-to-date on your NMDS-SC account (The NMDS-SC is a national data-base of information about social care companies, this data-base informs the government about trends in health and social care. You must be a member to claim WDF)

If you are a member of the UKHCA then follow these steps to claim:

  • Send to UKHCA your staff summary sheet/s and certificates with the UKHCA Cost Summary Sheet, these forms are available on the UKHCA website
