27th September 2016
Essential Training Group are delighted to announce that we are now endorsed as a recognised provider by training standards organisation Skills for Care.
The endorsement, which runs until September 2017 is a mark of quality that is given to the best learning and development providers in the adult social care sector. Just 72 providers in the UK are recognised by Skills for Care and Essential Training Group joins a list of only 5 in Yorkshire and Humber.
To become a recognised provider, you must show that; the company supports excellence, has good processes in place, delivers courses that are relevant and fit for purpose and can prove that the people who’ve attended their courses are now delivering better care.
“The endorsement is fantastic because it acknowledges how hard our team works to deliver dynamic, interactive high quality training” – Catherine Parker, Commercial Director of Essential Training Group
Catherine Parker, Commercial Director of Essential Training Group said: “We’re thrilled to be endorsed by Skills for Care, becoming a recognised provider for training, I want to thank all my colleagues, students and Skills for Care for helping us achieve such a prestigious accolade.”
“The endorsement is fantastic because it acknowledges how hard our team works to deliver dynamic, interactive high quality training which is relevant to the students day to day role. The excellent feedback received from Skills for Care reinforces that we can actively support care businesses to achieve their individual aims. ”
Skills for Care, an independent charity responsible for workforce development in adult social care in England, work with 35,000 adult social care employers to set the standards and qualifications to deliver high quality care to people who use services and carers.
Carole Escott Dawson, Director of Education of Essential Training Group said: “This a brilliant achievement by the team and shows our commitment to quality training. The endorsement is the kite mark for quality and we’re proud to receive it.”
“This is fantastic for our students as it reassures them that they are receiving training from people with high levels of skill, knowledge and sector experience who are at the forefront of academic changes.”
